Central Surgery operates the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy.
We will not tolerate abuse to our staff. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will be asked to leave the premises and may be removed from the practice list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises and this could lead to prosecution.
Our practice staff are here to help you. Our aim is to be polite and helpful to all our patients and visitors. If you consider that you have been treated unfairly or inappropriately, please ask the receptionists to contact the Practice Manager who will be happy to address your concerns.
However shouting and swearing at practice staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances and patients who are abusive may be removed from our patients surgery list.
